El Ayuntamiento de Galapagar celebró un acto íntimo con motivo de la 7ª Edición de los Premios a la Excelencia Académica en reconocimiento a los estudiantes premiados. El acto ya puede verse en el canal de YouTube del Ayuntamiento de Galapagar.
El Ayuntamiento de Galapagar celebró el pasado miércoles el acto de la 7ª Edición de los Premios a la Excelencia Educativa de manera privada, y según la normativa vigente, con la colaboración de los directores de los colegios e institutos del municipio, en honor a todos los alumnos premiados.
Este acto, celebrado en el salón de plenos y presidido por la concejala de Educación, Rosa Mª Encuentra, y el alcalde de Galapagar, Alberto Gómez Martín, fue grabado en directo para que todos los estudiantes recibieran así el reconocimiento público al esfuerzo que les ha llevado a conseguir la excelencia en sus expedientes académicos. De este modo, a pesar de no poder celebrar la gala anual debido a las circunstancias actuales, la Concejalía de Educación ha querido homenajear así al alumnado seleccionado por sus centros educativos publicando la retransmisión del acto en el canal de YouTube del Ayuntamiento.
El alcalde destacaba en su discurso el trabajo y la constancia del alumnado, que a pesar de haber vivido una situación excepcional muy complicada en los últimos meses del curso 2019/2020, su «esfuerzo de adaptación a las nuevas medidas en el ámbito educativo ha sido ejemplar». Además de nombrar a los padres y tutores, en su discurso el presidente del Ayuntamiento rinde homenaje al profesorado, «las personas que os han enseñado la magia de aprender, quienes os han guiado en un camino de incertidumbre que habéis descubierto juntos».
Tal y como dictaminan las bases, han sido 103 alumnos premiados: 41 alumnos premiados de 6º Educación Primaria, 31 alumnos premiados de 4º Educación Secundaria y 31 alumnos premiados de 2º Bachillerato. A todos ellos, desde el Ayuntamiento de Galapagar se les da la «enhorabuena por haber logrado, con mucho esfuerzo, sus excelentes resultados académicos».

Today, I went to the beach with my kids.
